This course is an excellent way to ensure your career in this industry gets off to a head start. The focus of this course is on the skills of shampoo and blow style, cutting, perming and colouring, combined with the technical know-how to put it all together.
The Certificate course comprises of 4 modules, focusing mainly on commercial techniques and basic hairstyling skills. You will graduate with the necessary technical and commercial skills to take your place in the work force.
Early into the course you begin supervised practice with live models, applying what you have learnt in a fully equipped salon-school environment. At Kimage, we place a high priority on training, both comprehensively and professionally. Thus, we believe in deploying only full-time qualified staff for teaching purposes. Our Student Teacher ratio is well below the industry standard at 1:12.
Course commence first Monday of every month.
Entry Requirement
Course participants should be at least 16 years old of age and must possess any one of the following entry requirements in order to be for City & Guilds Examination:

Completed GCE ‘N’ levels or equivalent

Academic Qualifications of PSLE with work experience for mature students

Ability to read and write in either English or Mandarin
Graduation Requirement
Student must complete all 4 modules with at least 75% in attendance for each module.
