What is the NTUC CDAC Skills Training Programme?
The CDAC Skills Training Award Scheme was set up in 1993. The Scheme sponsors more than 90 types of courses. You will be trained in both the practical and theory aspects of the selected course.
Who qualify for CDAC Skills Training Programme?
- Chinese Singapore Citizens / Chinese Singapore Permanent Residents
- Those with primary or secondary education, maximum GCE O-Level qualifications
- Those whose personal monthly gross income does not exceed $1500; or whose monthly gross household income does not exceed $2000 (age under 35 years ) or $2500 (age 35 years and above)
What are the Funding Assistances for CDAC Skills Training Programme Supported Trainees?
Under the Skills Training Award Scheme, CDAC will sponsor at least 80% of your course fees. You will also get a cash incentive upon successful completion of each module or the full course. In total, you only bear 5% of the course fees.
Trainees who are 40 years old and above with education level of GCE A-Levels & below would be eligible for funding of 90% of the course fee .
Trainees who are below 40 years old, with education level of GCE A-Levels & below would be eligible for funding of 80% of the course fee .
